​Coastal Psychiatric Urgent Care offers walk-in psychiatric care for those in need, which not only helps alleviate distressing symptoms but also helps reduce costs and burden to the client. Individuals are able to walk-in as a new client and see a psychiatric provider the same day. We do not schedule future appointments for psychiatric visits. Walk-ins and same-day appointments only.

Mental health experts say obtaining immediate care followed by long-term assistance is critical to ensuring individuals can lead stable lives once a crisis is over. Coastal Psychiatric Urgent Care can significantly reduce the cost of behavioral health treatment, compared with what similar care would cost in a hospital, and it can ease the strain on emergency rooms and jails created by repeat visits. Referrals from hospitals and jails as well as schools, outpatient providers, and law enforcement are always welcome.

 

We often develop long wait times as the day progresses for clients needing medication visits. If you are walking in later in the day, you may have to wait until the following business day to be seen. Regardless, we will ensure your needs are addressed as soon as possible.
